Samaritans provide telephone counselling 24/7 for anyone feeling lonely, depressed or suicidal. Last year 606 Kiwis died by suicide, with thousands more admitted to hospital for intentional self-harm. Samaritans have been working at the frontline of suicide prevention in Wellington for over 50 years. Last year Samaritans took over 30,000 calls from people who felt they had nobody else to talk to. Your donation helps us to continue listening and caring 24/7.
